Airports Authority of India
During my internship as an Information Security Intern at Airports Authority of India, I actively participated in a range of crucial tasks aimed at fortifying the airport's information systems and data security. My responsibilities included performing vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to pinpoint and rectify potential network vulnerabilities. I played a key role in the development and documentation of security policies aligned with aviation industry standards and regulations, such as DGCA guidelines, to ensure compliance. Additionally, I contributed to security awareness training programs for airport personnel, underscoring the significance of cybersecurity best practices. Collaborating with the incident response team, I assisted in the analysis and response to security incidents, facilitating prompt threat mitigation. Managing access control and user identity systems, I helped secure sensitive data and critical systems, and monitored network traffic and logs to promptly detect and address potential security threats. I had a diverse range of responsibilities. I supported ATS Tower operations, maintained Tx Rx equipment, and assisted in the Radar Section for aircraft surveillance. Additionally, I managed VHF communication systems. One noteworthy aspect of my internship involved collaborating with the Air Force for a special project. I was tasked with installing Rx Tx equipment for their airshow in Bhopal from September 26th to September 30th. This experience not only allowed me to work on hardware but also to apply my software development skills to ensure seamless communication during the event. My internship at AAI showcased my adaptability and commitment to excellence in both technology and aviation safety, combining my hardware expertise with software development capabilities.
